Knitting Together with Karolina and Ola

Karolina from Liloppi and Ola from AlexandraFactory invite you to a special knitting meet-up!

This is an intimate gathering for all knitting enthusiasts, where we will start working together on the beautiful Bao Bao shawl designed by Xandy Peters. It’s a perfect opportunity to spend time in a creative community, share experience, get support when starting a new project, and simply enjoy knitting together.

About the Bao Bao pattern

Bao Bao is a striking semicircular shawl with a modern character and a very interesting construction. The design uses the slipped stitch technique, which creates a beautiful geometric, mosaic-like pattern. The shawl looks stunning both in high-contrast colour combinations and in more subtle gradients.

This is a project that allows you to learn new techniques and create a unique accessory, while knitting together makes the first steps with the pattern much easier and more enjoyable.

The pattern is available in English, however there is no need to worry about language barriers. During the workshop, we will help you read and interpret the instructions, explain abbreviations, and guide you step by step through the project.

Participation

Participation is free of charge, however two conditions apply:

1. Purchase of the Bao Bao pattern before the event

The designer has given permission for the pattern to be used during the joint knitting session. The pattern must be purchased individually before the meeting:

2. Reservation fee of 100 PLN

The fee is not the cost of the workshop. It is a deposit to be used for purchasing yarn and/or needles needed to complete the shawl. Materials will be purchased on the day of the event in the Liloppi store.

Important information

• the pattern must be purchased before the event (link provided above),

• the pattern is available in English, German, and several other languages,

• during the meet-up we will help with reading and understanding the instructions,

• the 100 PLN reservation fee is mandatory,

• the full amount of the fee will be used for yarn and/or needles during the event,

• the number of places is limited.

Come with a good mood and we will help you choose yarn, decode the pattern, and cast on your first stitches. We invite you to a few hours full of inspiration, conversations about yarn, and knitting together in great company with coffee, tea, and cake!
