Alpaca Maya is a rich blended yarn from Viking Garn. It is composed of up to 82% superfine alpaca, 13% merino wool and 5% nylon. The yarn is very fluffy due to brushing, has longer strands of hair and a lot of volume. The yarn comes from Peru.
Alpaca Maya will be perfect for both youth and children's clothing. The finished products are incredibly soft, warm and lightweight.
Alpaca Maya yarn is sold in 50g skeins (about 160m).
It is recommended for 7.0mm size needles.
A sample of 12 stitches is 10 cm.
The manufacturer recommends washing at up to 30° and not using fabric softener.
The manufacturer cautions that different batches of yarn may vary slightly in dyeing.
