Tamar Lustre Blend DK Lynher is a unique, semi-sheer yarn with a subtle sheen that is made from the fleeces of rare, noble British sheep breeds: Teeswater, Wensleydale and Leicester Longwool. The natural gray of Leicester Longwool gives it a deep, silvery base with a medium gray hue, highlighting the natural beauty of the raw material.
For even more luster and softness, we enriched it with 30% luxurious Cornish Mule wool, which further enhances the fiber's softness and elegance.
Tamar yarn impresses with its luster, subtle shimmer and perfect lay - like the river to which it owes its name. Its beauty is highlighted by a palette of harmonious, nature-inspired shades, achieved through carefully selected dyes. Each color alludes to the rivers of Cornwall, creating a cohesive, unique collection with an organic feel.
Tamar Lustre Blend DK is sold in 100g skeins (220m).
It is recommended to make a sample before starting work, as the tension depends on both the pattern and the knitting technique.
DK yarn: on 4mm knitting (US 6, UK 8) you will achieve 20 stitches and about 28 rows.
Care: hand wash at low temperature, dry flat.
