LongColors is an extremely soft blended yarn from Hjertegarn. LongColors yarn is a combination of 75% superwash wool and 25% nylon. Thanks to superwash wool, the yarn can be washed in a washing machine at 30ºC by selecting the wool program.
LongColors yarn is a 4ply yarn. It is fancy dyed. The colors subtly blend into each other, both in subdued and more vivid combinations. The color transitions are quite long and in the finished products they form delicate streaks. The composition of LongColors yarn is typically sock-like. Its advantage is its extraordinary softness, thanks to which it can be successfully used in all projects such as scarves, sweaters and dresses. Even by people sensitive to wool. The finished products will be delicate and thin, and at the same time warm (high wool content) and durable (nylon added).
LongColors is sold in 100g skeins (400m).
For knitting, the manufacturer recommends knitting needles/crochet hooks in size 2.5 - 3.0.
It is recommended to wash in wool detergent and dry flat.
We especially recommend it to people for whom woolen yarns such as Liloppi Luna, Wool and Yarn, Teksrena or Aade Long are too rough.
