Lovikka from Viking Garn is 100% wool from Peruvian Highland merino sheep. The yarn from these sheep combines strength, resilience and resilience with extraordinary softness and fineness.

Lovikka is a thick and pleasant to the touch yarn with a not too tightly twisted weave, which you can easily knit warm hats, scarves, gloves and even slippers. The finished products can easily be felted in a washing machine or by hand, and can be brushed or softened. It is ideal for knitting winter clothing and accessories.

Lovikka wool is sold in 100g pretzels (approx. 60m).

It is recommended for 10mm size needles.

A 10x10cm sample is 10 stitches and 10 rows. 

The manufacturer recommends washing at up to 30° and drying flat.

This merino yarn from Viking Garn is RWS certified and OEKO-TEX labelled. RWS (Responsible Wool Standard) means that the wool is sourced from farms where mulesing is prohibited, guaranteeing animal welfare and sustainable production from the farm to the finished product.

The manufacturer states that different batches of yarn may vary slightly from dyeing to dyeing.
